We are honored to be recognized today by the American Foundation for the Blind as a company that has made an impact for people with vision loss.
Below is Kosta Eleftheriou's acceptance speech.
We are extremely thankful to the American Foundation for the Blind and we are honored to be recognized today.
When we set out to develop Fleksy in 2011, our main objective was to create a technology that made touchscreen typing easier and less burdensome. Along the way, we learned that there was a lack of solutions in touchscreen typing that addressed the needs of people with vision loss. We wanted to change this and we set out to remove the inherent barriers of touchscreen typing so that we could contribute in some way to a solution that would enable people with vision loss to achieve their full potential.
We have been overwhelmed and humbled by the positive feedback that we have received since our initial launch. There’s not a week that goes by when we don’t receive a message from a user thanking us for the contribution that we have made.
We are committed to this cause and will work tirelessly to create innovative, accessible technology and to make it available to the community.
From everyone at Fleksy, thank you
Kosta Eleftheriou
